The Mitsubishi World Masters Golf Championship is the largest and richest amateur golf tournament in Australia. The week-long celebration attracts over 1,000 golfers from all over Australia and throughout the world. The 18th annual World Masters Golf Championship is held in 2012 on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Open to both male and female golfers over 35, the Mitsubishi World Masters plays in age and handicap conditions, so you essentially only compete with golfers your own age and standard. The four round tournament plays on the Gold Coast’s premier Golf resort courses; including The Glades, Lakelands, Royal Pines and Robina Woods.

Every night of the Mitsubishi World Masters Golf Championship, golfers converge and party at Australia’s biggest 19th Hole in the cosmopolitan suburb of Broadbeach, with festivities ending with a stunning gala dinner featuring first class entertainment and the drawing of over $120,000 in prizes, including a new Mitsubishi car.
